Project Description:  Air Miles ME, Rewards Management System Middle East, Dubai, UAE.

Working Period: Feb. 2010 – JUL 2010.

Involved Staff: Mr. Mohammad Samaha, Insights Manager

Status now: The system is in operations since 2010. Mr. Samaha was responsible of the followings:

  1. Working with the key account managers to develop industry specific deep understanding of their partners and identifying their measures of success to drive campaigns and engagement activities.
  2. Managing the reporting and analytics function to support management and program partners.
  3. Working with market research agencies to research partner specific industries to drive valuable insights and to identify competitive threats, trends and opportunities.

He also acted as Business Intelligence Manager at the same company Oct. 2008 – Jan. 2010. His duties include:

  1. Managing the reporting and analytics function to support the commercial, finance and marketing departments.
  2. Managing the coalition loyalty program “Air Miles ME” member segmentation.
  3. Working closely with the marketing team to execute targeted campaigns and promotions, which required data    preparation, analysis and extraction of all member’ communications activities (statements, emails & SMS).
  4. Collaborating with the IT team and systems vendors to maintain and administer the loyalty systems databases and data warehouses and to perform loyalty systems maintenance, upgrades and development.
  5. Acting as the BI champion to educate and help other colleagues to make sense of data and trained them on the self-serve reporting platform
  6. Coaching and managing a team of analysts to perform the above-mentioned responsibilities.
